A Professional Team For St. Louis. - By a dispatch received Sept. 28 we are informed that a movement is on foot to organize a professional nine to represent St. Louis, Mo. Our informant states that $20,000 has already been subscribed for the purpose. The best players who can be secured are wanted, and professionals are requested to write to W.C.
